One day I noticed my dog was unusually interested in something and had wandered off to investigate. When I went to see what had caught his attention, I found a turtle. As far as I could tell, the turtle wasn't injured, and my dog seemed more curious than aggressive. Still, I decided not to take any chances. I carefully picked up the turtle and carried it back to the nearby lake. The story could have ended there, but the next day the same turtle appeared near us again. Apparently, it had its own plans and wasn't interested in staying where I thought it belonged. At least our second meeting was much calmer than the first.
