While I was walking home, one of my neighbors stopped me and asked if I could help replace the handle and lock on his gate. He believed someone had tried to force the lock open, so he had already bought a new handle and lock but wasn't comfortable installing them himself. So I removed the old hardware, installed the new handle and lock. It wasn't a complicated task.
